The primary intention for this project was to unlock the potential of a home where the best spaces were being unused. Working closely with the clients, we re-appointed the layout to ensure every room served a purpose and supported their lifestyle. The ground floor footprint changed only slightly, the first and second floor not at all, but thanks to the addition of some joinery the way in which the house is used has been transformed.
The entire design was less about buying new and more about reimagining what was already there. By re-covering and re-positioning existing pieces, we created a home that feels layered, lived-in, and unmistakably of its owners, whilst celebrating the breadth and beauty of the fermoie catalogue. One of the most impactful changes was made in the smallest room—a modest guest bedroom that we turned into a cosy little retreat, full of comfort and character. We commissioned a bespoke red colourway of pebble, which envelopes the space in warmth. A once unloved space is now everyone’s favourite room in the house!
